Not a penny. Just satisfaction from doing a good deed. To pass a therapy dog certification test, a dog needs to know basic obedience, be calm and sociable around other dogs and of course people, and not be upset or frightened of elevators, medical equipment like walkers and crutches, or of people with spastic movements.
